The Feeder Filler

I have to give a shout out to a young entrepreneur who caught my eye on Facebook.

Nine-year-old Wes Deline put together a business plan and some marketing material and launched his new business, on his dad Ryan’s Facebook Page.

Wes is calling his new venture The Feeder Filler, and he’s offering to come and fill your bird feeders on weekends with your choice of seed. His flyer says he services the Fowlers Corners area, but he can also sell you a new feeder full of seed. Just look for Ryan Deline on Facebook or give Wes a call at 705-632-5930.

Chamber events

Events this week include the monthly DBIA breakfast, with guest speaker Deputy Fire Chief Chad Brown. That’s Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at Empress Gardens.

And also Wednesday, at noon, the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Lunchbox Learning series features Kelland Sewell of rPM3 Solutions on the three main risk factors for business. Details at peterboroughchamber.ca.
