Timbermen still undefeated

Peterborou­gh Timbermen are off to their hottest start in their three short years of existence. Saturday afternoon at Children’s Arena they defeated the Oshawa Outlaws 13-9 to improve to 3-0. They sit second in the Arena Lacrosse League behind the St. Catharines Shockwave with a game in hand.

Blake Kenny led the Timbermen with three goals and an assist while Aaron Woods two goals and three assists, Simpson two goals and an assist, Fred Hartley two goals, Mark Vradenburg a goal and four assists, Ty Thompson a goal and three assists, newly acquired Brier Jonathan a goal and assist and Ethan Riggs also scored. Lyman Beatty added an assist. John St. John led the Outlaws with two goals and three assists.

Next Saturday the Timbermen are in Paris at 8 p.m. to visit the River Wolves.
