Learn to build a gaming computer at the library

Educationa­l programs now available at Otonabee-South Monaghan library branches

How to Build a Gaming Computer is coming to a library near you in OSM Township. The lessons are for all ages.

In Keene, it runs Feb. 7, 14 and 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Register by Jan. 31. At the Bailieboro Library, it runs March 14, 21 and 28. Register by March 7.

The cost is $10 per person. Meanwhile, for the younger crowd, Pre-School Story Time Tuesdays resumes Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. at the library in Keene.

Stop Animation Day Camp for ages eight to 12 runs March 11 to March 15, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Keene. Cost is $150 per person. Registrati­on and payment are required by March 4.

Reiki Level 1, runs March 18, 25, and April 1, 6 to 9 p.m., at Keene. Reiki Level 2 runs March 20, 27, and April 3, 6 to 9 p.m., at Keene. Each Reiki level costs $250 per person. Payment and registrati­on are required no later than March 4

Last week’s item about the OSM Food Cupboard should have said the food bank is open every second Thursday of the month. There are several drop off locations including Three Roads Farm, Hiawatha Life Centre, Otonabee Court Complex, Kawartha Credit Union, Keene United Church, OSM Memorial Community Centre and Otonabee-South Monaghan Township Office.

George Mitchell came this afternoon and we went to the cemetery to decide what kind of a monument to have placed at Lovina’s grave. We came home and had supper. George remained here until nine o’clock.
