Peterborough Thunder hosts McGregor Cup

Nine southern Ontario volleyball teams will compete in the U14 Girls McGregor Cup Championship Division tournament Saturday at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School.

Host team Peterborough Thunder plays the top-seeded Scarborough Synergy Titanium in morning action.

Other teams taking part in the Championship E tournament include Titans Impact, Durham Rebels Destroyers, Maverick Outlaws, Durham Attack Blaze, Durham Rebels Extreme, Durham Attack Blitz and Titanium White.

McGregor Cup tournaments are taking place across the province Saturday in Kitchener, Thornhill, London, St. Catharines, Orillia, Sudbury, Chatham, Simcoe, Woodbridge, Nepean, Barrie and other communities.
