Woman arrested after downtown disturbance
City police arrested a woman Tuesday morning after a disturbance downtown.
Police say a woman who is banned from a George Street North property had returned and was shouting at customers at about 10:20 a.m.
She refused to leave, police said, but eventually crossed the street and allegedly began threatening another person.
Amy Dawn Jones, 34, of no fixed address, Peterborough, was charged with causing a disturbance and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
She appeared in court on Tuesday.
