Robert­son run­ner-up for OHL player of the week

Pe­tes for­ward Nick Robert­son was named Mon­day as a run­ner-up for the On­tario Hockey League player of the week award. Robert­son had four goals and three as­sists over the past week as the Pe­tes started a six-game, 10-day road swing, beat­ing the Sault Ste. Marie Grey­hounds and the North Bay Cen­ten­ni­als, while los­ing to the Sud­bury Wolves. His penalty shot goal was the game win­ner over the Hounds on Sun­day. Robert­son, a Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, has scored in all six of the Pe­tes (4-2-0-0) games so far this sea­son. He’s tied for fifth in league scor­ing with eight goals and five as­sists. Nashville Preda­tors prospect Philip To­masino of the Niagara IceDogs was named player of the week af­ter get­ting three goals and four as­sists for seven points in two games.
