Robertson runner-up for OHL player of the week
Petes forward Nick Robertson was named Monday as a runner-up for the Ontario Hockey League player of the week award. Robertson had four goals and three assists over the past week as the Petes started a six-game, 10-day road swing, beating the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the North Bay Centennials, while losing to the Sudbury Wolves. His penalty shot goal was the game winner over the Hounds on Sunday. Robertson, a Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, has scored in all six of the Petes (4-2-0-0) games so far this season. He’s tied for fifth in league scoring with eight goals and five assists. Nashville Predators prospect Philip Tomasino of the Niagara IceDogs was named player of the week after getting three goals and four assists for seven points in two games.
