PREPARING FOR WINTER
Bruce Smoke from Alderville First Nation talks Wednesday to students celebrating the inaugural B'boon Ozhiita: Preparing for winter event, planned by staff members of Curve Lake First Nation School. The two-day event will see about 200 elementary students from schools in Curve Lake, Lakefield, Warsaw and Buckhorn rotate through a variety of stations showing traditional First Nation harvesting practices.
