Don’t mix up poachers with honest hunters

The MNR set up a sting to catch a poacher, not a hunter.
A poacher is an individual who breaks the province’s fish and game laws. A hunter is one who abides by them.
It may seem like a slight of semantics to a bystander, but the difference is enormous.
Peterborough County is filled with hunters, with generations of respect for the law of the land and conservation. But no respect for those who disregard.
In the future, for the benefit of many thousands of your readers, please get that right.
