At­tempted rob­bery at Hunter Street store

City po­lice are look­ing for two men after an at­tempted rob­bery at a Hunter Street con­ve­nience store Mon­day evening.

Po­lice say two men en­tered the store at about 6 p.m. and de­manded cash, with one of the men bran­dish­ing a screw­driver. A store em­ployee chal­lenged the men and they left without steal­ing any­thing.

One of the men is de­scribed as white, in his 20s, wear­ing a black jacket, blue pants and grey shoes.

The second man is de­scribed as white, in his 20s, wear­ing a dark jacket, a pat­terned scarf, black pants and grey­ish brown work boots.
