Lions sweep COSSA AA boys vol­ley­ball ti­tles

The Adam Scott Lions se­nior and ju­nior boys vol­ley­ball teams swept the COSSA AA cham­pi­onships on Nov. 13.

Both teams were first-place rep­re­sen­ta­tives for the Kawartha district.

The ju­nior boys played at Bay­side High School in Belleville and the se­niors played at North Hast­ings high school in Ban­croft.

Both teams won their semi­fi­nals in three straight games in a best of five match. The ju­nior Lions beat the Crest­wood

Mus­tangs 3-0 in the final. The se­nior Lions de­feated St. Mary Thun­der of Cobourg 3-0 in the final.

The se­niors qual­ify for OFSSA this week­end in Strat­ford.
