McMULLIN, Eldred Gerard "Gerry"

July 5, 1942 - May 25, 2023

A beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother, neighbor, and friend. Gerry was a small business owner of Dictation Sales & Service in Peterborough for over 40 years. He also taught electronics part time at Sir Sandford Fleming College for a few years. He passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center on Thursday May 25, 2023. Gerry was the eldest son of Archibald McMullin and Jessie McIntyre, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on July 5, 1942. He was the loving husband of 40 years to the late Heather Lorraine McMullin (nee Mackie). Gerry was a devoted and loving father to his two sons, Jason McMullin (Shelley Meyers) and Michael McMullin (Danielle Falconer). He was a caring grandfather to his 4 grandchildren, Mae Belle, Tarok, Ethan, and Alexis and a favorite uncle to Chris, Lori, Patrick, Kimberly, Gregory and Jeffrey. He was 'big brother' to John, Marie and Arlene. Gerry was actively involved in many local sports leagues over the years including bowling, slo-pitch, horseshoes, and darts. He will be remembered by friends and family for his calm and steady presence, unwaver -ing willingness to help anyone in need, and his passion for astronomy and history. While he will be deeply missed, the lasting memories and profound impact he has had on everyone's lives will endure. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2023 at 2 PM at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.
