From Prince George provincial court, Dec. 4-10, 2015: • Zackary William Isaac (born 1986) was sentenced to jail time served and 18 months probation, ordered to pay $929.25 in restitutio­n and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for assaulting a peace officer, mischief and mischief $5,000 or under. Isaac was in custody for 102 days prior to sentencing. • Linsay Michelle Cowgill (born 1983) was sentenced to one day in jail and one year probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for using a forged document, committed in Quesnel. • Phillip Travis Lazarre (born 1988) was sentenced to 60 days in jail and one year probation, issued a five-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for assault, and to one day in jail committed in Fort St. James and to seven days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breach of probation, committed in Prince George. Lazarre was in custody for 19 days prior to sentencing. • Dennett Robert Sloan (born 1969) was fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for possession of a controlled substance. • Darin Creyke (born 1970) was sentenced to 90 days in jail and six months probation, issued a lifetime firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $50 victim surcharge for assault with a weapon or causing harm, to jail time served and assessed $150 in victim surcharges for breach of probation and breach of an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce, all committed in Smithers. Creyke was in custody for 47 days prior to sentencing. • Michael Jonathan Fisher (born 1976) was sentenced to 10 days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breach of probation. • Jade Calvin Pierre (born 1996) was prohibited from driving for one year and sentenced to 18 months probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for dangerous driving and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. • Stephen James Sherman (born 1992) was sentenced to 14 days in jail for theft $5,000 or under and to three days in jail for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

Sherman was also sentenced to one year probation on both counts and assessed $200 in victim surcharges. • Wayne Kenneth Herbert Brown (born 1968) was sentenced to 13 days in jail and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for two counts of breach of probation. Brown was in custody for four days prior to sentencing. • Trevor Alvin Charles (born 1970) was sentenced to 45 days in jail and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for traffickin­g in a controlled substance. • Nikita Amelia John (born 1987) was sentenced to 18 days in jail and one year probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for theft $5,000 or under. • David Leif Nellos (born 1990) was sentenced to one day in jail and one year probation and assessed $600 in victim surcharges for two counts of assault and one count of breach of an undertakin­g. Nellos was in custody for 35 days prior to sentencing. • Laszlo Simon (born 1970) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention under the Motor Vehicle Act. • Elysie Ann Apsassin (born 1977) was sentenced to 21 days in jail for one count of breach of probation and to three days in jail for a separate count of breach of probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges. Apsassin was in custody for 12 days prior to sentencing. • Joseph Gary Ronald Mazzei (born 1950) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act. • Sophia Holly Mercer (born 1977) was sentenced to 15 days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breach of probation.

Mercer was in custody for 10 days prior to sentencing. • Joshua Robin Wilson Rogers (born 1994) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act. • Shane Casey Sikorski (born 1976) was fined $300 plus a $90 victim surcharge for one count of possession of a controlled substance and fined $100 plus a $30 victim surcharge for a separate count of possession of a controlled substance. • Ann Brittany Tom (born 1989) was ordered to serve the remaining rest of her conditiona­l sentence in jail for breaching its terms. In August, Tom was sentenced to a six-month conditiona­l sentence and two years probation for being unlawfully in dwelling-house. • Travis Roger Morgan Westgaard (born 1979) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act. • Nicole Michelle Anderson (born 1979) was sentenced to one year probation and assessed a $300 in victim surcharges for theft $5,000 or under, committed in McBride and theft $5,000 or under and failing to appear in court, committed in Nanaimo. • Marcel James Abou (born 1985) was sentenced to 28 days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breach of probation. • Charles Christophe­r Chingee (born 1967) was sentenced to 133 days in jail, one year probation and issued a lifetime firearms prohibitio­n for assault, to 30 days in jail for two counts of breach of an undertakin­g and to 14 days in jail for theft $5,000 or under, and assessed $400 in victim surcharges on all charges, all committed in McLeod Lake. • Jarrett Jimmie (born 1995) was sentenced to one year probation, issued a five-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for possessing weapon for dangerous purpose.

Jimmie was in custody for three days prior to sentencing. • Marcel James Johnny (born 1994) was sentenced to one day in jail and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for two counts of breach of an undertakin­g, committed in Vanderhoof. • Jason Charles Pettis (born 1974) was sentenced to 21 days in jail and one year probation for assault and to 15 days in jail for two counts of breach of an undertakin­g and assessed $300 in victim surcharges.

Pettis was in custody for nine days prior to sentencing.
