From Prince George provincial court, January 8-12, 2018:

• Robert Guy Kristian (born 1968) was sentenced to six days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for for breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce and assessed $300 in victim surcharges for criminal harassment and breaching an undertakin­g and to two years probation on the charges. Kristian was in custody for 32 days prior to sentencing.

• Sheena Ericka Sacrey (born 1984) was sentenced to one year probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for possession of counterfei­t money. Sacrey was in custody for one day following her arrest.

• Robert Gordon Heltman (born 1990) was sentenced to 730 days in jail for three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of traffickin­g, to 517 days in jail for possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm, to 365 days in jail for a separate count of possession for the purpose of traffickin­g and to 30 days in jail for breaching probation, committed in Prince George, and willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer, committed in Kelowna. Heltman was also issued a lifetime firearms prohibitio­n and assessed $1,400 in victim surcharges. Heltman had spent a total of 590 days in custody on the charges prior to sentencing.

• Kenneth Oram Joseph Proulx (born 1962) was sentenced to 18 months probation with a suspended sentence and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for uttering threats to destroy, burn or damage. Proulx was in custody for five days following his arrest.

• Dana Campbell Desjardine­s (born 1964) was sentenced to 25 days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation. Desjardine­s was in custody for two days prior to sentencing.

• Stephen Leo Nezaticky (born 1986) was sentenced to 15 days in jail and one year probation, ordered to pay $231.57 in restitutio­n and assessed $300 in victim surcharges for three counts of theft $5,000 or under.

• Kolten Gray Cowie (born 1975) was issued a one-year $1,000 peace bond for causing fear of injury or damage.

• Rodney Alexander Courtoreil­le (born 1988) was sentenced to 150 days in jail for theft of a motor vehicle, to 50 days in jail for theft $5,000 or under, to 30 days in jail for mischief to property over $5,000, willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer and two counts of breaching probation. Courtoreil­le was asssessed $1,300 in victim surcharges on those counts and a further $700 in victim surcharges for two counts of break and enter and committing an indictable offence and one count each of possessing a breakin instrument, theft $5,000 or under and breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce. Courtoreil­le was also sentenced to one year probation on the counts and had spent 126 days in custody on the charges prior to sentencing.

• Andrew David Fallus (born 1997) was sentenced to three years probation with a suspended sentence, issued a 10-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for possession for the purpose of traffickin­g.

• Dylon Antoine Felix John (born 1995) was sentenced to 87 days in jail for assault with a weapon, to 50 days for possessing weapon for dangerous purpose and to jail time served for uttering threats and theft $5,000 or under. John was also sentenced to one year probation, issued a five-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed $400 in victim surcharges. John was in custody for 40 days prior to sentencing.

• Kevin James Monk (born 1980) was sentenced to 60 days in jail and 10 months probation for theft $5,000 or under and to 51 days for a separate count of theft $5,000 or under and assessed $200 in victim surcharges. Monk was in custody for five days prior to sentencing.

• Joshua Lamar Sam (born 1993) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $1,000 for driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08, committed in Fort St. James, sentenced to 15 days in jail for willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer and to one year probation with a suspended sentence for theft, committed in Prince George and to jail time served for failing to appear in court and breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce, committed in Fort St. James and assessed $800 in victim surcharges on the counts. Sam was in custody for 13 days prior to sentencing.

• Cory Blaine Thompson (born 1980) was assessed $300 in victim surcharges for mischief $5,000 or under and two counts of breaching probation. Thompson was in custody for 22 days prior to sentencing.

• Donald Justin Johnny Baker (born 1994) was sentenced to 27 days in jail and 18 months probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharges for theft $5,000 or under and break and enter and committing an indictable offence, committed in Bear Lake. Baker was in custody for 160 days prior to sentencing.

• Karl Adolph Hildebrand­t (born 1994) was sentenced to 18 months probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for assault. Hildebrand­t was in custody for four days following his arrest.

• Reginald Edmond Junior Kot (born 1976) was prohibited from driving for two years and fined $1,000 plus a $100 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Blake Kenneth Louis (born 1992) was issued a one-year $500 recognizan­ce after allegation for assault.

• Drew Ame Baker (born 1994) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act, committed in Vanderhoof.

• Gene Clifford Joseph (born 1974) was assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation, committed in McBride. Joseph was in custody for 14 days prior to sentencing.

• Christine Garnot (born 1981) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Stacie Anne Buttee (born 1972) was fined $200 plus a $60 victim surcharge for possession of a controlled substance.

• Michael Ryne Tuttosi (born 1984) was issued a one-year $500 recognizan­ce after allegation for causing fear of injury or damage.

• Dale Al West (born 1980) was sentenced to 168 days for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and to 60 days in jail and issued a two-year driving prohibitio­n for driving while disqualifi­ed under the Criminal Code. West was also sentenced to one year probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges. West was in custody for seven days prior to sentencing.

• Tobin John Woods (born 1986) was sentenced to 195 days in jail and prohibited from driving for three years for dangerous driving and to 120 days in jail for flight from a peace officer. Woods was also sentenced to 18 months probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharges. Woods was in custody for 111 days prior to sentencing.
