Matthew Good will not join Our Lady Peace and Ellevator when they take the stage at CN Centre tonight.

Good collapsed on stage at Edmonton’s Jubilee Auditorium on Tuesday and was taken to the hospital, where he is continuing to recover from pneumonia. The Prince George concert was originally supposed to take place on Wednesday, but was postponed to today in hopes Good would be able to perform.

A statement released by CN Centre general manager Glen Mikkelsen, said the concert will continue today, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7:30 p.m.

“Matthew Good’s management team advises he is very disappointed he will not be able to rejoin the tour in Prince George, but he remains hopeful he can do so in Kelowna, on Friday, March 30, and Abbotsford on March 31,” the statement said.

“Matthew Good also thanks the great health care profession- als at Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton, for the exceptional care he has received.”

In a video from the Tuesday concert posted on social media, Our Lady Peace singer Raine Maida told the crowd that Good “wanted to do the show and he tried to do it and you saw what happened.”

“I spent time with Matt last night in the hospital. He made it clear he wanted the tour to go on, and he will make it back out playing as soon as the doctors clear him,” Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida said in a press release.
