From Prince George provincial court, July 16-20, 2018:

• Shaun McCook (born 1985) was assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation. McCook was in custody for two days prior to sentencing.

• Leo Kirk Milton (born 1982) was sentenced to 30 days in jail for breaching probation and breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce and to 25 days in jail for assault with a weapon and assessed $300 in victim surcharges on the counts plus another count of breaching probation.

Milton spent a total of 23 days in custody on the counts prior to sentencing.

• Andrew Noren Quamme (born 1971) was sentenced to 16 days in jail and one year probation for driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Debbie Ann Seymour (born 1962) was sentenced to one year probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for assault. Seymour was in custody for 32 days prior to sentencing.

• Kurt Werner Steinhause­r (born 1982) was sentenced to 118 days in jail and one year probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaking and entering with an intent to commit an offence. Steinhause­r was in custody for two days prior to sentencing.

• Clinton Levi Poitras (born 1981) was sentenced to two years probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for aggravated assault and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for failing to appear pursuant to a court order and breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce. Poitras spent a total of 241 days in custody on the counts prior to sentencing.

• William Ernest George Parent (born 1968) was sentenced to two years probation for breaking and entering with intent to commit an offence and two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and to five days in jail for willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer.

Parent was also assessed $700 in victim surcharges on the counts as well as one count of failing to appear in court. Parent was in custody for 83 days prior to sentencing.

• Murray Dennis Albert Hughes (born 1987) was fined $1,000 plus a $300 victim surcharge for driving without a licence under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Dean Reginald Anderson (born 1977) was sentenced to 30 days in jail and one year probation, ordered to pay $186.18 restitutio­n for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and to 12 days in jail for two counts of breaching probation and assessed $300 in victim surcharges on the counts.

• Charles Andrew Nelson Arnold (born 1970) was sentenced to 90 days in jail for breaking and entering with intent to commit an offence, and to one day in jail for theft $5,000 or under and two counts of breaching probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharges on the counts. Arnold was in custody for 16 days prior to sentencing.

• Katelyn Katy Lee John (born 1999) was sentenced to one year probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for theft $5,000 or under.

• Kenneth Munroe (born 1986) was assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation, committed in Fort St. John.

• Charles Roger West (born 1959) was sentenced to 14 days in jail for theft $5,000 or under and to 13 days in jail for another count of theft $5,000 or under and assessed $200 in victim surcharges on the counts.

• Rene Joseph Batoche (born 1972) was sentenced to four days in jail for theft $5,000 and under as well as one year probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges on the count plus one count of breaching probation. Batoche was in custody for 26 days prior to sentencing.

• Rajeeb Singh Cheema (born 1977) was sentenced to 21 days in jail, served on an intermitte­nt basis, prohibited from driving for 18 months and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act, committed in Cache Creek.

• Mark Trevor Desouza (born 1960) was sentenced to 18 months probation, issued a 10year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for uttering threats to burn, destroy or damage. Desouza was in custody for 34 days prior to sentencing.

• Vaughn Warren Sheldon McMillan (born 1994) was sentenced to one day in jail and one year probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharges for assault, committed in Prince George and mischief $5,000 or under and two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, committed in New Aiyansh. McMillan was in custody for 55 days prior to sentencing.

• Sharon Patricia Mickey (born 1971) was sentenced to 10 days in jail and assessed $500 in victim surcharges for theft $5,000 or under and four counts of breaching probation and to one year probation for assault and assessed another $200 in victim surcharges on the count plus another count of breaching probation, all committed in Prince Rupert. Mickey was in custody for 14 days prior to sentencing.

• Robert Richard Prettie (born 1975) was sentenced to 18 days in jail and one year probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for theft $5,000 or under. Prettie was in custody for two days prior to sentencing.

• Cory Allen Ernest Sargent (born 1989) was sentenced to 19 days in jail and one year probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for possessing weapon for dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by crime. Sargent was in custody for 26 days prior to sentencing.

• Darcy James Tennant (born 1982) was issued a six-month $500 recognizan­ce after allegation for causing fear of injury or damage.

• Jamison Blake Zatorski (born 1984) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Steven Henry Mulder (born 1975) was sentenced to one day in jail and two years probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for mischief to property over $5,000 and possessing a weapon for dangerous purpose. Mulder was in custody for three days prior to sentencing.

• Karl Lewis Namox (born 1984) was sentenced to a four-month conditiona­l sentence order and one year probation, issued a five-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for assault.

• Jimmy Curtis Rossetti (born 1985) was sentenced to one year probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharge for assault with a weapon and possessing a weapon for dangerous purpose.

Rossetti was in custody for 276 days prior to sentencing.

• Natrone Andrew Prince (born 1998) was sentenced to six months probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce, committed in Fort St. James.
