Re: John Tosoff let­ter, Jan. 8 let­ter.

While you tried to make some good points about the snow re­moval re­port (or lack thereof) by the mayor on the CBC, I’m glad I wasn’t on the same roads that you were on that day.

I think nearly chok­ing on your val­ued cof­fee and then chok­ing on the de­li­cious ham and cheese sand­wich would in­di­cate that you should ei­ther take a lunch break off the road or have an emer­gency re­sponse mem­ber rid­ing in the pas­sen­ger seat to en­sure not only your safety but that of oth­ers in your path as well.

This comes un­der the head­ing of dis­tracted driv­ing and could re­sult in a pretty hefty fine or worse.
