P.G. ju­dokas com­pete in Canada Cup

Mon­treal is the home of the judo’s na­tional team pro­gram and this hol­i­day week­end four Prince Ge­orge ju­dokas will be there vy­ing for ti­tles at the Canada Cup com­pe­ti­tion.

The Hart Judo Academy, coached by Bruce Kam­stra, is send­ing three club mem­bers – Brooke Cor­bett (Un­der-21, – 48 kilo­grams), Kimiko Kam­stra (U-21, – 48 kg) and Koen Heit­man (U-18 and U-21, – 73 kg)

The Prince Ge­orge Judo Club coach Aline Stras­din will have one of her ath­letes there – Tami Goto (U-18 and U-21, – 48 kg).

The com­pe­ti­tion starts Satur­day and runs through Mon­day. Heit­man will travel to Cali, Colom­bia, to com­pete in the Pan Amer­i­can Judo Cham­pi­onships on July 20.
