Tourism Prince Ge­orge CEO re­signs

Tourism Prince Ge­orge is seek­ing a new chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer. Af­ter 5 1/2 years, Erica Hum­mel has re­signed to take on a new post­ing in Edmonton, the or­ga­ni­za­tion said in a state­ment is­sued on Thurs­day. “Dur­ing her time with TPG, Erica’s ded­i­ca­tion has re­sulted in the growth and de­vel­op­ment of the tourism sec­tor in the com­mu­nity and de­liv­ered tan­gi­ble ben­e­fits to tourism stake­hold­ers and in­dus­try part­ners,” a state­ment by Tourism Prince Ge­orge said. Hum­mel’s last day on the job is Oct. 4.

The board has ap­pointed Sarah Kirk as in­terim CEO.
