DRUGS, CASH SEIZED

A SIG­NIF­I­CANT QUAN­TITY OF CO­CAINE AND NEARLY $15,000 CASH WAS SEIZED AND THREE PEO­PLE WERE AR­RESTED IN A SE­RIES OF SEARCHES ON FIVE HOME, PRINCE GE­ORGE RCMP SAID.

RCMP emer­gency re­sponse team, the de­tach­ment's street crew unit ex­e­cuted search war­rants on homes on Lyon Street, Con­veyor Street, Simp­son Road and Isle Pierre Road, as well as a stor­age unit on High­way 97 North.

Two men, ages 54 and 49, and a 50-yearold woman were ar­rested an later re­leased pend­ing fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion and con­sid­er­a­tion for charge ap­proval. Their names were not re­leased.

The de­tach­ment's se­ri­ous crimes sec­tion and dog ser­vice and the Com­bined Forces Spe­cial En­force­ment Unit of B.C. were also in­volved in the op­er­a­tion.
