Bertuzzi signs new deal

DETROIT — It became clear fairly quickly into his second tenure as a Detroit Red Wing that Todd Bertuzzi had found a home with the team.

He extended his stay Thursday, agreeing to a two-year contract worth $1.975 million US the first year and $2.175 million the second year, for a cap hit of $2.075 million. It was also Bertuzzi bobblehead night at Joe Louis Arena on Thursday night.
