Allegiant adds Hawaiian flights
Getting a winter dose of South Pacific paradise just got a little easier — and less expensive — for Vancouverites.
Beginning over the course of the next two weeks, Allegiant Air begins non-stop jet service from Bellingham, Wash., to Maui and Honolulu. Twice-weekly flights to Kahului Airport on Maui begin Nov. 14, while the twice-weekly service to Honolulu International Airport begins the following day.
“We are pleased to add Hawaii as another affordable, convenient destination option for Northwest Washington and Vancouver residents,” said Allegiant Travel Company President Andrew C. Levy,
He noted that the company’s vacation packages and non-stop service to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay area and Phoenix/Mesa have been very popular with area residents.
This is particularly true of Canadian travellers, with Allegiant offering much cheaper fares than non-stop service out of YVR.
“We are confident the community will appreciate the convenience of flying non-stop to Hawaii and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together,” he added.
