MacKay a hypocrite
Justice Minister Peter MacKay criticized Justin Trudeau for admitting he had smoked a joint of marijuana three years ago. He said: “By flouting the laws of Canada while holding elected office, he (Trudeau) shows he is a poor example for all Canadians, particularly young ones.”
MacKay sounded foolishly pompous in light of his imperfect past. Has the former defence minister conveniently forgotten about his involvement in the Conservatives’ campaign to misinform Canadians about the true cost of those outrageously expensive F-35 stealth fighter jets?
Has he conveniently forgotten that the full cost of our military mission in Libya was seven times greater than what he publicly stated?
I’m sure most Canadians, particularly young ones, have more respect for an honest man than a posturing partisan hypocrite.
Harper’s Conservatives are on a mission to demonize and destroy Trudeau because they are deathly afraid of him.
