Vernon man guilty of child sex offences imprisoned

VERNON — A 28-year-old Vernon man has been sentenced to 42 months in prison for online and other sex crimes with young girls.

The Crown and defence had called for a two-year sentence, as well as probation for Connor Dee.

Dee pleaded guilty to 13 charges including extortion and possession of child porn involving five Okanagan girls between 11 and 17 years old. One victim, who was 11, was lured to a Kelowna park where Dee raped her and took pictures.
