Invest in our future

-

I’m sure glad I wasn’t born the son of Employment Minister Jason Kenney. When I was a young lad, I had no skills whatsoever. So my father took me out into the bush and taught me how to make a living using what God has given all of us, our vast natural resources. We never became rich, but we always made a living.

I took all the skills he gave me and became self-made in a related industry. My father could have just as easily hired a temporary skilled person, someone who was profitable right from the get go but, no, he decided to invest in the future of his family.

Kenney could have learned a lot from my father, not so much in how to make money today, but how to invest in our people’s future.

Please, Mr. Kenney, I beg you, teach our sons, give them the skills, invest in our future. We really don’t need foreign workers when we need the jobs ourselves.
