Not the whole story

Letter-writer Paul Rogers scolded Abbotsford council for their short-sightedness regarding the $15 million the province was going to donate toward a homeless shelter. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe council members had offered B.C. Housing a different location that in their minds was a more suitable location and it was turned down.

Councillors have to listen to their constituents and it isn’t always the noisy ones who represent the majority. This is how misinformation is spread and used by minorities to get their way.

I blame the media, in part, because in their reporting the complete story isn’t being told.
