Canada offers Gervais lots of pun and Games
British funny guy Ricky Gervais is making good use of his time in Vancouver while he shoots Night at the Museum 3.
The man behind The Office, Extras, Life is Short and most recently Derek has taken to his Twitter account (@rickygervais) and talked up his Canadian trip.
Recently he posted he was having a pun time while touring around Granville Island: “Spent the morning on wonderful Granville Island, Vancouver. Stopped to have my photo taken with a huge fan too,” said Gervais, who posted a picture of himself standing next to a huge propeller at Granville Island.
The two-time Golden Globe Awards host is here for a week shooting the new Ben Stiller film, which is slated for release in December.
During the time he has wholly embraced Canada, even tweeting out that he was pulling for the Canadian men’s hockey team in its gold-medal game against Sweden. “Today, I’m half Canadian #GoCanadaGo,” said Gervais.
