Three injured in southern Interior fast-food restaurant stabbings

PENTICTON — Three people are in hospital following a stabbing incident at a fast-food restaurant in B.C.’s southern Interior.

RCMP Sgt. Barry Kennedy said officers arrived at the restaurant in Princeton on Wednesday afternoon and found two women suffering from stab wounds and a man trying to cut his own throat.

B.C. Ambulance spokeswoma­n Kelsey Carwithen said the patients were taken to hospitals in Princeton, Kelowna and Penticton, and that one of them was transporte­d by air ambulance.
