Burnaby hosts furry fanfest
Furry fans were out in full force this weeken dat Vancoufur 2014, the third annual convention for those interested in the softer side of life.
The theme of this year’s convention, held at the Executive Inn and Conference Centre in Burnaby, is “Gateway to the Pacific” celebrating the diversity of the city and the countries of the Pacific Rim.
Attendees clad in animal suits — both homemade and purchased — marched in a suit parade and participated in literature, art, crafts, cultural activities and other aspects of furry fandom.
Furry fans are interested — some sexually — in fictional animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.
