Re: Editorial on provincial government’s appeal of teachers’ contract ruling.

The courts exist to uphold the law. They are not there to rescue governments from ideologically driven fiscal mismanagement.

And speaking of mismanagement, the Liberals have already spent millions of taxpayer dollars, only to lose the two previous court cases. Undeterred, they have just added hotshot (read expensive) Vancouver lawyer Howard Shapray to their legal team and have appealed. Here’s some legal advice from a lowly taxpayer: obey the law.
