Professional photographer Daniela Ciuffa, 38, recently had a baby and was ready to update her look for spring. Daniela has thick, wavy hair. To complement her new mommy lifestyle, I wanted to give her a cut that is chic and classic yet easy enough to pull away from her face when running errands and caring for her son.
I started by shampooing her hair using KMS Color Vitality Shampoo and Conditioner for colour-treated hair.
I sectioned her hair, then began cutting it at the nape. I created a graduated cut that’s longer at the sides and front and incorporated soft layers for texture and movement.
Before styling, I applied a pump of KMS Free Shape Hot Flex Crème for heat-activated style and shaping, followed by KMS Add Volume Styling Foam. I blow-dried her hair with a medium-round brush, then touched it up with a flat iron for a sleeker finish. To complete the look, I used KMS Hair Stay Anti Humidity Seal for 24-hour weatherproofing and finished with KMS Hair Stay Medium Hold Hair Spray.

I started with foundation, then added bronzer and blush to create a sun-kissed glow.
I selected warm, neutral tones for her eyes to create definition and to enhance her eye colour. I curled her lashes and coated them with black mascara. To finish, I lined her lips with a long-wearing lip pencil, then added a metallic gold lipstick.
