What a great border?

- Jerzy Rudowski, Langley

Vehicles waiting to cross the Canada-U. S. border at the Peace Arch and Pacific Highway crossings on Saturday sat idling in lines for up to three hours, according to Tuesday’s Province.

That reminds me of the radio interview with some Swedish tourist a few years ago who said, “I’ve seen many international borders, but nothing like the Canada-U. S. border.”

Prime Minister Stephen Harper should be congratulated on the historic border agreement he signed so proudly with U.S. President Barack Obama months ago.
