Streisand writing memoir

NEWYORK — Barbra Streisand is set to publish her long-discussed and long-promised memoir. The legendary singer-actress-filmmaker has a deal with Viking for her life story, the publisher announced Wednesday.

The book is currently untitled and scheduled for 2017. According to Viking, Streisand will reflect on her childhood, her career and on the private life she has carefully guarded.

The subject of numerous unauthorized books, the 73-year-old committed herself more strongly in recent years, saying she was determined to clear up various myths.
