CARLOS, Manuel Herminio da Terra

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel on July 14, 2015 in Vancouver, BC. Manuel was born in Riberinha, Island of Faial, Azores, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1963. Beloved husband of 54 years to Maria Fatima (Pinheiro), loving father to Jose and Lano (Gwilanne), and proud Avo to Elizabeth and Nathan. Manuel will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Vancouver General Hospital. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church on 13th Avenue in Vancouver on Friday, July 24, 2015, with 9:30 a.m. Rosary, then 10:00 a.m Mass. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada are gratefully acknowledged.
