Mr. (Ralph) Goodale, as a taxpayer of Canada, I demand this lunacy stop. As minister in charge of the RCMP, you have the ultimate responsibility to ensure our security budget is distributed responsibly.

How do you think the average taxpayer feels upon reading about this officer, suspended with full pay at our/my expense, globe-trotting on our dime.

Proceed with the inquiry, which will either clear him and put him back to active duty or fire him. A 21/2-year suspension on full pay is not acceptable to the beleaguered taxpayers of Canada.
