Guilty plea in theft

MORRISTOWN, N.J. — A New Jersey woman has admitted stealing money from former Saturday Night Live cast member Joe Piscopo.

Under terms of a plea agreement, 40-year-old Jennifer LaRocca pleaded guilty to theft.

LaRocca admitted her husband was hired to pay Piscopo’s bills and she unlawfully wrote cheques for her own expenses.

LaRocca has agreed to pay nearly $171,000 in restitution.
