Sign up for an e-car test drive

Here’s your chance to get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle.

Test drives will take place on the lower level of the convention centre Thursday through Sunday of the show.

All you need to do to take one of several manufacturer EVs for a drive is sign up at the tent at the bottom of the escalators. Don’t forget your driver’s licence and you must be over 18.

The test drives will be offered between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday, March 24-27. (Note: Sunday they knock off at 6 p.m.)

The drives are sponsored by the CEV for BC program, which provides rebates to consumers who purchase new electric vehicles, and Emotive, which brings the EV message and movement to consumers.
