Before Linda wanted hair that was stylish and easy to manage
Ultrasound technologist Linda Murray, 52, has medium-textured hair that’s naturally brown in colour and was previously highlighted with caramel-blond highlights. She wanted a cut that would be long enough to pull back into a ponytail and that was stylish and easy to manage.
I started by shampooing her hair with KMS California Silk Sheen Shampoo and Conditioner for shine and movement, then applied KMS California Moist Repair Revival Crème to her mid-lengths and ends as a leave-in conditioner to restore moisture and improve manageability.
I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and cut her perimeter into a one-length long bob. I incorporated internal layers to increase body and movement, and added soft, side-sweeping and face-framing layers to enhance her face shape.
Before styling, I applied KMS California Add Volume Styling Foam for long-lasting body and style support, then blowdried her hair with a denman brush. I switched to a medium round brush to create a sway in her fringe and finished her style with a light spray of KMS California Hair Stay Medium Hold Hair Spray for humidity resistance and workable hold. after Bronzing foundation and blush with dark eyeliner create a smoky look
MAKEUP
Linda has a very even complexion. I used a tinted moisturizer to create a sheer supple finish and applied concealer to brighten under her eyes. I added a light dusting of bronzer and blush to warm up her complexion then went with a classic look on her eyes by applying a black cream wing liner. To frame her eyes, I filled in and extended the shape of her eyebrows, then curled her lashes and applied black mascara. I applied a nude lipstick to complete her demure look.
