Rogue One stars to present Oscars

Oscar producers say Felicity Jones and Riz Ahmed, the stars of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will be presenters at the Feb. 26 ceremony.

Past Oscar winners Javier Bardem and Charlize Theron are also set to present. Last year’s Oscar winning actors — Brie Larson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Rylance and Alicia Vikander — will also appear.

Jimmy Kimmel hosts the show on ABC and CTV.

VOGUE SPREAD Kloss sorry for geisha photos

White model Karlie Kloss is apologizin­g for appearing in a fashion spread in Vogue’s diversity issue styled as a geisha, calling it culturally insensitiv­e.

Kloss, who has Danish and German roots, is shown in a black wig and wearing a kimono in one shot and poses beside a sumo wrestler in another. Vogue says it’s “paying homage to geisha culture.” Kloss apologized on Twitter for “participat­ing in a shoot that was not culturally sensitive. My goal is, and always will be, to empower and inspire women. I will ensure my future shoots and projects reflect that mission.”

LIFE AFTER LIVE! Philbin, Ripa drifted apart

TV host Regis Philbin says he hasn’t kept in touch with his former co-host Kelly Ripa since he decided to leave the show they headlined together.

In an interview with Larry King, Philbin says Ripa took it personally and was offended when he decided to leave Live! with Regis and Kelly in 2011.

He says Ripa thought he was leaving because of her. But Philbin, 85, says he left because he was getting older and it “wasn’t right for me anymore.”

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTI­ES Grammy producer apologizes

The longtime producer of the Grammy Awards has apologized to Metallica and Shirley Caesar after technical glitches marred their parts on the show.

The microphone for Metallica’s James Hetfield wasn’t initially working when the band took the stage to perform with Lady Gaga and Caesar, a lifetime achievemen­t award honoree, was misidentif­ied during the televised ceremony.

“These kinds of things are horrible when they happen,” Ken Ehrlich said Wednesday.
