Acura TLX teased ahead of N.Y. debut
Acura has released a red-tinted teaser image of the upcoming TLX mid-size sedan. It looks like the automaker used the same studio where they shoot all the red-tinted Dodge Demon photos. Sharing many mechanical parts with the Honda Accord, the TLX is Acura’s rather slow-selling mid-size sedan.
The image shows Acura’s fivelight headlights and an enormous plastic Acura logo directly in the centre of the grille.
The “beak” — which was universally bemoaned — is now gone and has been replaced with this much more conventional design.
No mechanical details have been given about the sedan but we can expect it to continue to offer V6 power and be offered in both front-and all-wheel-drive formats. Hopefully the refreshed 2018 version can entice buyers back to Acura showrooms.
