Very thick, wavy hair with dry ends that was feeling shapeless

Reena Rai is a realtor who was ready for a style update. Her hair is naturally dark-brown in colour and very thick and wavy in texture. It was feeling shapeless and unmanageable, and her ends were feeling dry and needed a little TLC.

I started by shampooing her hair with Goldwell Kerasilk Control Shampoo and Conditioner infused with Keratin and great for unruly hair. I added Goldwell Kerasilk Smoothing Fluid as a leave-in conditioner with heat protection, then sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting. I cut her hair into a diagonal back shape, creating face-framing layers, while maintaining length through the back. I incorporated long layers throughout the hair for added body and movement, and to eliminate dry ends.

Before styling, I dispensed a egg-size amount of KMS California Add Volume — Styling Foam for long lasting style support. I blow dried her hair using a medium round brush and finished her style with a light mist of KMS Hair Stay-Working Hair Spray for touchable, movable finish.
