WEEKEND SHOWS WORTH A ROAD TRIP
Road Trip is this weekend’s carnut theme as there are so many great shows just a few hours away from the Lower Mainland.
I love the annual Sleepy Hollow show and the Kamloops show, but since I just got back from a road trip to the prairies and am now planning my trip to Car Week in Carmel next week, I’m staying close to home. That doesn’t mean you should!
Two pub shows will get my attention this weekend: the Mission Springs show that I have yet to attend; and the show at the John B Pub in Coquitlam, where I spend many of my formative years (Coquitlam, not the pub, although I did on occasion go to the pub’s former location.) I am hoping to see lots of the old gang show up to the John B Pub show and I will come by after lunch after a trip to Mission. Well, that’s the plan.
