Naude, who failed to make Canada’s moguls team last Olympics, has redeemed herself in Pyeongchang, finishing second overall in qualifying by posting a score of 79.60. Fellow Canadians Justine Dufour-Lapointe and Audrey Robichaud finished fourth and 10th, respectively.

The first step toward a fifth consecutive gold in women’s hockey is a faceoff with the Olympic Athletes of Russia. Canada, led by head coach Laura Schuler and captain Marie-Philip Poulin, will compete in a stacked Group B featuring the Americans, Finns and OAR.

The Dutch-born Calgary resident is the current world record holder in Sunday’s event, the 5,000-metre. At 31, he is finally making his Olympic debut after leaving Holland to join Team Canada

Can Canada continue to roll? The Lawes-Morris duo has been unstoppable since dropping its first draw of the Olympics to Norway. Heading into its final round robin match versus South Korea, Canada had rattled off five straight wins and clinched a spot in the semifinals.
