Meghan Markle’s dad Thomas has been banned from royal events for life after he blindsided the family with his surprise TV interview, RadarOnline. com has learned.
The palace had no idea that Thomas was going to give the tell-all interview to
Good Morning Britain ,a source told Radar.
The royals were “shocked and blindsided” when Meghan’s reclusive dad, who lives Mexico, opened up to Piers Morgan about his chats with Prince Harry about politics, his staged photo scandal, his heart condition and his biggest regrets after missing his daughter’s wedding day!
Prince Charles stepped in to be Meghan’s aisle escort at the big wedding instead.
“I was complaining I didn’t like Donald Trump, he said ‘give Donald Trump a chance.’ I sort of disagreed with that, but I still like Harry. That was his politics, I have my politics,” Thomas said. He also touched on Harry’s views about Brexit, saying the Prince seemed “open to the experiment.”
Prince Harry’s political views aren’t anything the royal family wants the public to know.
Meghan’s dad also admitted his staged photo scandal, was a “serious mistake.”
But clearly, Thomas didn’t understand the royal family wants him muzzled for good.
“It was almost a 30 minute interview — unheard off for members of the family,” the source told Radar.
“The palace keeps reaching out to dad offering help and guidance and Thomas keeps saying no thanks.
“The palace doesn’t know whattodowiththisman— they can’t have Harry reach out to him anymore because they worry Thomas will tell the press all about it.”
