POWER RANKINGS
1 Calgary (1)
With the Grey Cup defeat still fresh in their minds, Calgary beat Toronto in every facet of the contest in revenge game.
2 Ottawa (7)
The Redblacks positively thumped the Green Riders. Trevor Harris was on fire, throwing for 345 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
3 Hamilton (6)
Tabbies made up for a missed opportunity in Week 1 with a dominant Week 2 win over the Eskimos. Offensive line got huge props in win.
4 Edmonton (2)
Eskies had no answer for June Jones’ runand-shoot offence. Mike Reilly and company struggled to find any rhythm at all.
5 B.C. (4)
We don’t really know that much about the Lions other than they are capable of beating a poor Montreal team.
6 Saskatchewan (3)
Major step back for the Riders, who looked completely lost on road in Ottawa.
7 Winnipeg (8)
Odd to fall a spot off a win, but that says more about Montreal than it does Winnipeg. 8 Toronto (5)
As much as the loss to Calgary stung, the sight of Ricky Ray being carted off the field on a stretcher is far more worrisome. 9 Montreal (9)
Badly in need of a quarterback to give them some kind of offensive threat. Averaging just 10 points agame.
