Groom your eyebrows like a pro to look great and save money

-

In this week’s tutorial, I’m showing you how to perfectly groom your eyebrows like a pro for a fraction of the cost. What you’ll need are drugstore facial waxing strips, good tweezers, an eyebrow brush with spoolie, eyebrow scissors, rubbing alcohol and eyebrow pencil.

STEP 1

You’ll want to start with a clean face and clean eyebrows. With a cotton pad and alcohol, wipe clean the eyebrows and brush them smooth with an eyebrow brush.

STEP 2

Using a brow comb and scissors, slowly and carefully trim down uneven and unwanted hairs from top of the eyebrow.

STEP 3

To get the perfect arch, you’ll want to measure the brows in three spots:

1: The inner edge of the brow should line up with the outside nostril.

2: The highest point of the arch should be just at the outer edge of the eyeball

3: The outer brow should measure from the outer nostril to the outer corner of the eye.

STEP 4

Using the drugstore wax strips, gently align the strip above the brow in a clean straight line to remove any unwanted hair. Rub the strip with your finger to warm up the wax and pull the wax strip off in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Be aware of how close you place the wax strip as you do not want to risk removing too much hair.

STEP 5

Using your tweezers, remove any unwanted hairs from below the arch of the eyebrows and in between the eyebrows.

STEP 6

The Parissa facial waxing package comes with a small blue vile of Azulene oil, which contains natural camomile to help as an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic that reduces ingrown hairs and redness.

STEP 7

After wiping the brows clean of oils, fill-in and shape the brows with a brow pencil that is one shade lighter than your natural colour and voila — perfectly groomed brows.
