Before the piece was published, the 74-year-old issued a pre-emptive denial, calling the accusations “a complete lie.”

The Sunday Times magazine, his wife Catherine admitted she was put in a “really hard position” as she wanted to support her husband but was also a firm believer in the #MeToo movement against sexual harassment.
