Powerhouse Ailes may be gone but his legacy lives on

Roger Ailes helped make Fox News, as its founding CEO. He helped make Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and Donald Trump president, as a media consultant and adviser. He resigned from Fox in the wake of allegations of sexual harassment, which continued to accumulate even after he left that post. And he died last year, aged 76.

Love him or hate him — and it’s fair to say that’s not a 50/50 split — there was much to say about the man, which director Alexis Bloom does in this portrait of a right-wing superstar. Divide and Conquer is available on demand.
