What it is: Three skin-perfecting products from the makeup brand KISS NY Professional.

The company, which offers a full array of colour cosmetics, including lipsticks and eyeshadows, has three new releases to smooth skin: KISS NY Professional Dark Under Eye Concealer, KISS NY Professional Powder Foundation and KISS NY Professional Stick Highlighter.

The concealer provides full coverage to conceal scars, shadows and imperfections. The cushion-tip applicator promises even distribution of the oil-free and waterproof product.

The KISS NY Professional Powder Foundation features “skin-enhancing” green tea and can be used wet or dry for either a matte or a soft, velvety finish.

The stick highlighter, which is available in four shades, is a multi-use product that can be applied as a contouring or highlighting shade. The formula features jojoba oil and vitamin E to moisturize skin and a “water-drop” shape for easy, precise application.

What we say: Our testers were impressed with the performance of these products. While we didn’t try the pressed-powder foundation wet, as a powder it left skin matted and smooth — and even slightly colour corrected.

The Dark Under Eye Concealer was a fast favourite for our testers. The puffy applicator made dabbing the product on easy and when blended out and set with powder, it stayed in place all day without settling into creases.

The highlighter was the weakest link of the trio. While it applied easily, blended well and stayed smooth on the skin, our testers found the formula a tad too sparkly to do double duty as a contouring product. Where to get it: London Drugs; londondrugs.com What it will cost you: From $9.99.
