CRIME OF THE WEEK

Police are investigating three sexual assaults believed to have been committed by the same man.

In all three occurrences, a man entered a store in Surrey and asked for the assistance of staff. Once he had engaged with a staff member, he touched or grabbed the person sexually, before leaving the store.

On one occasion, he grabbed the staff member and attempted to guide her away. She broke free.

These offences occurred in December 2018 and January 2019 at locations in the 12000 block of 72nd Avenue, the 10300 block of

152nd Street and the 7400 block of King George Boulevard.

In each instance, the suspect wore different clothing that could be described as athletic. He is described as a South Asian male with a chubby build and moustache.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man pictured above is asked to call Surrey RCMP.
