Half-price admission at Seattle museums
Seattle Museum Month allows guests staying at any one of the 64 participating downtown hotels half-price admission at 40 museums and cultural institutions.
Many hotels are also offering special packages, so a family of two adults and two kids can save almost $200 if they visit four of the participating museums over two days.
And Lyft is offering 20 per cent off three rides to Seattle Museum Month locations.
Seattle offers a wide range of one-of-a-kind museums, from pop culture and sci-fi, glass art to grunge, history to living computers, sculpture to oil paints, and pinball to Bruce Lee. MoPOP, the Museum of Pop Culture, features exhibits on Marvel superheroes, local legends Nirvana and Pearl Jam and guitar hero Jimi Hendrix.
The Nordic Museum in Ballard houses the nation’s largest collection of history and heritage celebrating Nordic countries. You can explore technology past and present at the Living Computers: Museum + Labs, flip out to your favourite game at the Seattle Pinball Museum, fly high at The Museum of Flight, and blow your mind with whimsical botanical gardens of blown glass works at Chihuly Garden and Glass.
